Community Success — Engineers at the Mall: Another Great Year!

Engineers at the MallAs has been the tradition every National Engineers Week, the students of the Lyles College of Engineering were out full force in the community.  National Engineers Week takes place every third week of February, with the purpose to call attention to all the important contributions that engineers make to society.  Here at Fresno State, students from the Lyles College of Engineering participate in an event that is known as Engineers at the Mall, which takes place the Friday through Sunday at the end of National Engineers Week.

This year, students of the College brought their student organization or class projects to the Sierra Vista Mall in Clovis and demonstrated to the public what being an engineer is all about.  The students were there all day Saturday and Sunday.  The event has become a tradition that many youth in the community look forward to with each passing year.  Take a look at some of the images from 2009's Engineers at the Mall.

We hope to see all of you there February 19th and 20th in 2010!!
