Prospective Students

California State University, Fresno is excited to now offer engineering programs in the Antelope Valley. Three programs will be available: Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. The program is structured such that students will complete their first two years of coursework at Antelope Valley College and then matriculate to California State University, Fresno for their third and fourth year courses. The third and fourth year courses will be offered at the new Lancaster University Center (LUC) facility developed by the City of Lancaster for an educational partnership between California State University, Bakersfield, and California State University, Fresno, designed to bring previously unavailable academic programs to students in the Antelope Valley. Classroom instruction integrates live instructors and distance-learning technology, and state-of-the-art laboratory facilities are currently under construction, funded through generous donations from the Air Force Research Laboratory, Edwards Air Force Base Flight Test Center, and NASA's Dryden Flight Research Center.  Courses in all three programs are currently being offered at the LUC.
