Ancient DNA Analysis
Through our association with the Human Identification Laboratory at the California State University, Fresno, we are able to offer PCR-based DNA testing services from archaeological / ancient tissues – most notably calcified tissues such as bones and teeth, as well as other tissue such as hair. This analysis makes it possible to ascertain the sex of the individual and/or to identify the likely biological source population of a given archaeological sample.
