Bioarchaeology
While archaeology is concerned, the social and behavioral information you can extract from human bones and associated materials, like art. It sounds a lot like forensic anthropology, but it isn't focused on the individual, by gaining insight into society the individual came from. It includes social references that can be made from patterns of trauma, inferences about medical knowledge from wound healing, and how such data challenge some important misconceptions about early societies found in anthropological literature.
