Undergraduate Research Opportunities

The Forensic Biotechnology Institute is interested in recruiting highly motivated, reliable undergraduate students who are interested in gaining hands-on research experience with the goal of making them more competitive to enter graduate programs either at the California State University, Fresno, or elsewhere. Volunteers are always welcome, but some funding and credit opportunities also exist. The most successful applicants are entering their sophomore years, and are committed to remaining in the lab for the duration of their undergraduate education. This gives students maximal opportunity (and time) to engage in and develop their research in such a way that will result in peer-reviewed publication(s).
