This is an archived version of my website for California State University, Fresno.  This website will not be updated.  Although there are links to many commercial recordings on this website, there are no full length commercial recordings.  The only full recordings are my field recordings.

Since I have always intended this website to be a research resource, my collection of rare books, manuscripts, and recordings is available in this archive.  Please do not email or contact anyone at csufresno.edu they can't help you with items located here.

This website is the product of nearly six years of actively collecting drinking related folklore.  I started off with drinking toasts and then moved on to the secret world of drinking songs.   If you have an interest in drinking folklore, it is easy enough to collect.  Go forth and do likewise.
