  • I have listened to all of your toasts, dear friends,
    Since this banquet was first begun;
    I have drunk to the health of the ones you loved,
    And have shared in your mirth and fun,
    So I'll offer a toast to the one I owe most
    For all of the fun that I've had,
    For I wouldn't be here on earth with its cheer
    If it wasn't for dear old Dad.
