    [Attributed to "Dr. Henry Aldrich (Dean of Christ Church), 1700" by French (1884) and the 11th edition Brannica (1911),  it is also attributed to Jean Sirmond,  French Latin poet (c. 1589 - 1649), by Menage and De la Monnoye, see "Menagiana," vol. I, p. 172.  I have not verified either claim.]
