One of the handicaps faced by students of folklore is the inaccessibility of materials. Most books in the field -- even those long out of copyright -- are out of print and hard to acquire. Even when available, they exist only in print form -- incapable of being searched and, in many cases, unindexed. The Fresno Folklore Reprint Series is an attempt to make some of these important-but-out-of-print works available in electronic form.
