Research Interests: Dr. Dong Wang is research leader of the Water Management Research Unit of USDA-ARS at Parlier, CA. His current research interests are water flow and contaminant transport in the vadose zone, remote sensing of evaporative water requirements of horticultural crops, modeling implications of climate change on water quality at watershed scales, and transport and atmospheric emission of volatile organic coumpounds such as soil fumigants. Dr. Wang was privously on the faculty of University of Minnesota - TwinCities and was director of graduate studies of Soil Water and Climate Graduate Program and graduate faculty member of universide-wide Water Resources Sciences Graduate Program. He taught a number of graduate and undergraduate level courses. |
