Short Course Venue, Transportation and Accommodation

The workshop will be held at California State University, Fresno (click here for a campus map and more Maps), which is located in the beautiful Central Vally of California and surrounded by Yosemite, Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. This workshop is scheduled two days before the start of 2004 Fall Meeting of AGU (American Geophysical Union, 13-17 December 2004 in San Francisco) so that some participants can attend both meetings.

The Fresno Yosemite International Airport is about 3.7 miles (6 km) southeast of the campus and can be reached by taxi, airport shuttle or rental cars. Local transportation information and Campus parking permits will be sent upon registration.

Participants will have to arrange for their own accommodation. The hotels nearest to the workshop venue are listed below. Block reservations are provided for the workshop participants.
