Students of the Geomatics Engineering Program at California State University, Fresno (CSUF) will be holding the 48th Annual Geomatics Conference from January 22 through 24, 2008. Geomatics Engineers manage the global spatial infrastructure and CSUF has produced trained professionals since 1971. This effort includes real property boundary determination, digital mapping, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and photogrammetric mapping, just to name a few. This conference provides the unique opportunity of introducing talented future professionals to current successful. It is highly acclaimed as a national leader in Geomatics education.
Because of generous supporters, deserving students have been able to receive the financial support needed to continue their education to become tomorrow's Geomatics Engineers. We invite you or your organization to become a supporter of our program by participating contributing in the form of items and/or gift certificates.
These will greatly assist the scholarship fund-raising efforts in the form of raffle drawings to be held at the conference. These funds provide financial assistance to deserving students for educational expenses. Donations of any kind will be greatly appreciated.
We look forward to hearing from you, and sincerely thank you in advance for your consideration of support for our students. Please contact Analisa Gonzales via e-mail analisarg@csufresno.edu.
