Letter from the Conference Chairs

Another year has come by and we are very well looking forward to another exciting conference. After the recent success of the 47th Annual Geomatics Conference, we have decided the conference will return to the Clovis Memorial District Rex Phebus Veterans Memorial Building. For those who did not attend the conference last year, Downtown Clovis is charming with plenty of shops that include antiques as well as several bars. The conference overall brings in hundreds of attendees from around the world, supporting local hotels, restaurants and other local businesses within our community.

The success of our conference and students encourages and nurtures an environment of  learning with opportunities abound.

The majority of your contributions and attendance go towards student scholarships.  Your attendance could help this conference’s scholarship goal of raising $100,000.  These scholarship monies provide financial support for students to meet the cost of fees, books and tuition

This is an all-student run conference. Every year, students from our Geomatics Engineering program volunteer for and learn how to be leaders seventeen conference leadership positions.  These committees work in tandem to facilitate the needs of the conference to make it a success.  All decisions regarding the conference are monitored by the following faculty:
Dr. James K. Crossfield, Coordinator, Dr. Riadh Munjy, Dr. Fareed Nader, and Dr. Clement Ogaja.

Please read the information on this webpage and should there be any questions, don't hesitate to contact one of us! We look forward to your presence at this year's conference!

Sincerely,

JR Gregory& Kent Poythress
