Graduate Faculty Development Opportunities

Workshops & Events for faculty and staff

Start the new academic year with DGS!

You are cordially invited to join the Division of Graduate Studies staff for breakfast!

If you are a Graduate Program Coordinator, you won't want to miss out on this chance to be brought up to speed on DGS policies and procedures, all while enjoying scrambled eggs and toast!

This academic year, DGS will host four working breakfasts, which have been designed to replace previous years' faculty development opportunities and help better equip our Graduate Program Coordinators.

There will be two breakfasts in the fall semester and two in the spring 2011. Please be advised that each Graduate Coordinator Breakfasts will differ in content. We will not present the same information at each breakfast. Keep this in mind as you RSVP.

The Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 breakfast dates are:

Wednesday, September 7, 7:30a.m.-9:00 a.m.
Wednesday, November 2, 7:30a.m.-9:00 a.m.
Wednesday, February 1, 7:30a.m.-9:00 a.m.
Wednesday, April 11, 7:30a.m.-9:00 a.m.

at the Vintage Room (located across from The Fountain in the University Center Building)

So join Dean Sharon Brown-Welty and the DGS staff for breakfast!

Please RSVP to Louise Neal at lneal@csufresno.edu

Grad EXPO

Provides a venue for our graduate programs to meet current university students, and other potential students from our community, who are anticipating entering a graduate program. All graduate degree programs and campus service offices that deal with graduate students and their admission are represented. This event occurs every 2 years, in the fall of odd-numbered years. However, due to budgetary restrictions, there will not be a Grad Expo. Contact Graduate Recruiter Marco Diaz, 8-2448 or marcod, for more information.
