Amy Lukianov
M.A., Education, option in Administration and Supervision
Amy Lukianov, a President's Scholar for four years as an undergraduate and two years as a graduate student, maintained a 4.0 GPA through both her credential program in Multiple Subject Teaching and her M.A. program. She taught a class in each of the last four semesters as a graduate assistant, and works full time as the Jumpstart Early Literacy Program director at Fresno State, for which she is responsible for training, supervision and hiring of more than 40 students per year as tutors and instructors in Head Start classrooms in the region. She was the Jumpstart National Western Regional Employee of the Year in 2004. At Fresno State, she served in the Associated Students Inc. Senate and on the board of directors of Programs for Children. She is an active campus and community volunteer and was a commissioner for four years on the Governor's Office on Service and Volunteerism. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. and become a university professor.
