Kristen S. Mattox
M.A., Kinesiology, option in Sport Psychology
Kristen Mattox completed her M.A. degree in fall 2004 with a 4.0 GPA while also serving as vice president of the Student Sport Psychology Club, a youth sport consultant, part-time instructor at Fresno City College and Fresno State and coaching assistant. She is also a wife and the mother of four young boys. She has made several conference presentations and will present the results of her master's thesis at the national convention of the Association for the Advancement of Applied Sport Psychology in October in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her thesis examined various aspects of women's sports at the high school level. She is a member of state and national health and physical education organizations and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. In 2004, she and two fellow graduate students started Mattox, Meyer, and Kerr Sport Psychology Consulting. |
