Jason Paul Terry
M.A., Interdisciplinary Studies
Jason Terry will complete his M.A. degree with a 4.0 GPA. His achievement has been recognized through scholarship awards including Graduate Equity Fellowships, Hispanic Scholarship Fund, Robert and Norma Craig Scholarship, Hispanic Professional Engineers Society and a McNair Scholarship. He has conducted several research projects, concentrating on studying formal language theory, automata theory and their interactions with abstract algebra. He has developed experience as a teacher as a math instructor for the State Center Community College District and as a teaching assistant for the College of Engineering and Computer Science. He also completed other teaching assignments for University High School and Kingsburg Elementary Charter School District. He has been accepted into several doctoral programs with full financial support and will begin study at one of them in the fall.
