Araceli Michelle Velasquez
M.B.A.

Araceli Velasquez will be completing her MBA with a 3.86 GPA. Selected as a Kauffman Intern, she performed Web page and marketing development for Fresno Plumbing and Heating. Her MBA consulting project consisted of performing a feasibility/sustainability study for the Ruth & Sherman Lee Institute for Japanese Art in Hanford. A graduate of Stanford University with a degree in biology, she returned to Fresno to help her father start a business with an invention of his. Her business plan was named a finalist in a prestigious national contest and drew the attention of a venture capitalist. She also has started her own business and serves as a consultant for two other start-up businesses. Additionally, she served as president of the Craig School's MBA Student association and is a board member of the Fresno Area Stanford Alumni Association.
