2004 DEANS' GRADUATE
MEDALIST Christopher Mortensen completed his master’s degree in fall 2003 with a 3.76 GPA. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at Texas A&M. Christopher was involved with all aspects of the Fresno State Horse Breeding Program, where he conducted research on carbohydrate metabolism in neonatal foals. Upon completion of his Ph.D. Christopher plans to return to the classroom to teach as well as continue his research in various areas relating to equine health.
