Jason Camy Brown, M.A., Linguistics
Jason Camy Brown, who earned two bachelor's degrees
(anthropology, philosophy) in 2000, now receives his master's in
linguistics with a 4.0 GPA. He has been accepted into two Ph.D.
programs in linguistics, one of them with a sizable stipend. In
the current academic year, he is president of the Philosophy Club
and co-organizer of a Linguistics Colloquium Series. He received
a scholarship, a fellowship, and travel grant to support his studies.
He had four talks accepted at major professional conferences in
linguistics. He also was a graduate assistant in the Linguistics
Department for the past two years and an adjunct instructor at Fresno
City and Reedley Colleges this year.
