COLLEGE OF SOCIAL SCIENCES
Lisa Andrews, M.S., Criminology
Lisa Andrews is one of the few students to complete
a master's degree in one year. She earned the M.S. degree in Criminology
with a GPA of 4.0 and an overall GPA of 3.97. She earned several
honors, including an athletic scholarship in women's soccer as an
undergraduate and one of two graduate assistantships provided by
the criminology department. She earned a Victim Services Certificate
and became a Certified Victim Advocate. She was an intern for the
Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Task Force at Fresno State
and at the Marjaree Mason Shelter in Fresno. She is a member of
the Golden Key National Honors Society, American Scholars National
Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. She intends to continue
her education to earn a Ph.D., with a goal of teaching at the university
level.
