Dr. Daniel Griffin - Associate Director
Dr. Griffin has been in the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs since July 1989. He provides assistance
to faculty and staff in researching and preparing grant proposals. His areas of focus include Academic Affairs,
Student Affairs, Kremen School of Education and Human Development,
Extended Education, and Graduate Studies. Dr. Griffin is also
responsible for negotiating and reviewing grant award documents. In addition, he also serves as an adjunct faculty
member in the College of Social Sciences teaching courses in grant writing and city and regional planning. He is a
member of several campus organizations including MESA, University HOPE, and Friendly Visitors Service. Dr. Griffin
has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, a master degree in Public Administration, a master degree in
Environmental Planning, and a doctorate in Educational Psychology and Statistical Research. He also holds an
Illinois K-12 teaching certificate.
