The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) is designed to help faculty and staff apply for and secure external funds in support of their creative ideas and professional interests. ORSP’s mission is to assist faculty in all aspects of proposal preparation, including identifying appropriate funding sources, preparing proposal budgets, completing all required assurances, certifications, and authorizations, and coordinating the delivery/transmission of the proposal to the funding agency in accordance with their requirements and deadlines. Our staff provides the expertise needed to assure that proposals conform to Fresno State regulations and sponsoring agency rules, and our goal is to apply that expertise to the timely review of all proposals before they are sent to sponsors.
