The Bachelor of Arts Program

The Bachelor of Arts degree program in History at California State University, Fresno offers undergraduate students seminars on a wide range of historical periods and approaches.

The program also provides the conscientious student with the requisite research skills to ensure success in future academic or related pursuits

History Department at California State University, Fresno is especially strong in the areas of Ancient History, Modern European History, United States History, Latin American History, and Military History.

An energetic community of graduate students has developed at California State University, Fresno and graduates of our program have become successful teachers at the high school and community college level and have moved on to pursue their career at the doctoral level.
