Our Mission

Our purpose is to recognize and promote academic excellence at Fresno State through public recognition of those students who have achieved superior scholarship and of those individuals who have gone beyond the confines of their positions to improve the academic environment for students on our campus.

Our purpose is also to provide guidance to others; individuals, Phi Kappa Phi Chapters, and other honor society's chapters, whose purpose is also to recognize and promote academic excellence on their campuses.  This web site is one of Chapter 062's methods of accomplishing these purposes.

We present on our web site a variety of formats we have established to provide recognition to our members and others we have recognized, to provide a continuance of our chapter, and to provide examples of these for others to consider, adopt, or modify.   We welcome your comments and requests for additional information.  We will strive to provide you with the information you request.  Thank you for visiting our web site and investigating the information provided to help fulfill our purpose.
