Dear New Employee: Welcome to your new position at California State University Fresno! You are joining more than 2,400 faculty and staff and 21,000 students in our region’s premier interactive university. You are also joining a 23-campus system providing undergraduate and graduate education to more than 414,000 students. Working at Fresno State can be a very rewarding experience. We are called upon to play a leadership role in our community and we are indebted to that community for its support. Your representation of our campus to the community, state, and California citizens is an important assignment in addition to your specific duties. We owe that public the best service possible. They are the reason we exist. Higher education is undergoing constant change. Fresno State is a leader in foreseeing, adapting to, and implementing necessary changes to serve our students better.
