Administration of ICOA

Administration: ICOA will be housed in the College of Science and Mathematics. It will have a Director based in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences. The College of Science and Mathematics will provide office space for the Director of ICOA.

The ICOA Advisory Committee will meet quarterly, or more frequently as issues and opportunities arise. The ICOA Advisory Committee will review and help prioritize funding opportunities, assist in maximizing the interdisciplinary strengths of CSUF in successfully competing for external funding, and help in developing external contacts and partnerships with colleges, universities, and other research organizations.

The ICOA Director will be responsible for preparing meeting agenda items, providing for the taking of minutes, and summarizing the Committee’s findings and recommendations to the Dean of the College of Science and Mathematics.

The Advisory Committee Chair and the ICOA Director will bring Advisory Committee recommendations to the Dean of the College of Science and Mathematics.
