The Institute of Climate Change Oceans and Atmosphere
The Valley experiences significant water resource and air quality issues that are intertwined with climate change. ICOA will work with existing CSUF water institutes, and will also become a leader in atmospheric science, including air quality and meteorology. ICOA will inventory and organize current CUSF research and course offerings in these areas, provide opportunities for collaborative research that improves chances of receiving funding, and identify opportunities for growth in research, education and outreach. This is a new ancillary unit being formed at CSUF in Spring 2008.
