Congratulations Students!

Congratulations on your admission to California State University, Fresno. You will be a part of a wonderful experience during your education at Fresno State.  It is an overall exposure to a new environment, climate, people and food which may overwhelm you at first but is sure to bring a whole new perspective towards life.  You may no longer have the privilege to communicate in your language or meet people from your own background every day. But on the bright side, it is a time tested formula that these same students with proper assistance and proven orientation programs have overcome all the difficulties mentioned and have thus far excelled in a way they never imagined.

Rest assured, we are always here to help. Our staff is fully experienced and equipped with the right tools and have developed programs like New Student Orientation and Academic Counseling that provide the right information for all your concerns and questions.

As an incoming student you need to review materials in Online Advisor, which can be found on Blackboard .

Blackboard is a "provider of Internet infrastructure software for e-Education", offering a "complete suite of enterprise software products and services that power a total 'e-Education Infrastructure' for schools, colleges, universities, and other education providers. Blackboard solutions deliver the promise of the Internet for online teaching and learning, campus communities, auxiliary services, and integration of Web-enabled student services and back office systems". You are going to need a login and password to connect to the Online Advisor system which you may already have obtained by registering for a Fresno State email account. In case you have not, it is to be noted that getting an email account with Fresno State is mandatory since it is a single sign-on account that is used everywhere in Fresno State's online portal, offering various services including Blackboard , email and my.csufresno.

Simply go to http://email.csufresno.edu and click the Sign Up button to begin the registration process. If this seems a little difficult for you, do not worry as we are here to help.
