Primary departments: Child, Family, and Consumer Sciences and Industrial Technology
Tahler currently serves as the advisor for the Fashion, Inc. student club.
Experience:Previous advising experience comes from working with the Title V-HSI program, Commitment to Latina/o Academic Success and Excellence (CLASE) at Fresno State, as well as the University Advising Center.
Education: Tahler is a two-time graduate of Fresno State, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and her Master of Science in Counseling, Student Affairs and College Counseling.
Personal: Tahler is a Real Housewives and Bravo TV enthusiast. She and her husband Corey live in Hanford and have two dogs, Rylee and Marlee.

Nyxy was the newest addition to the advising team in the spring of 2018 and already been an active leader on campus in previous staff and campus committee positions and as a student.
Experience: Previous advising experience comes from working with the Services for Students with Disabilities office. She is also a VET NET ALLY and certified by Mental Health First Aid USA.
Education: Nyxy is a two-time graduate of Fresno State, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and her Master of Science in Counseling, Student Affairs and College Counseling
Personal: Nyxy is a fan of TV shows The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and Dancing with the Stars, pro tennis (Go Federer!), and Coldplay. She also enjoys camping and hiking and spending time with her dogs. The key to her heart is ice cream, chocolate, and puppies.
Primary departments: Agricultural Business, Agricultural Education, and Animal Science
Terence will be overseeing advising for the Agricultural Business department, as well as, Animal Science and Agricultural Education department. Services that will be provided, but not limited to include: major advising, GE advising, graduation plans, change of major counseling, time management and organizational skill building, and academic petitions.
Experience: Prior to joining the Jordan College Advising and Career Development Center, Terence previously worked with Fresno State Athletics serving as the Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Services. While working with the athletics department Terence’s primary role was to serve as the academic advisor for the Baseball, Football and Women’s Lacrosse teams. Other responsibilities included overseeing the CHAMPS/Lifeskills program, being the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Advisor, developing the curriculum for the Athletics 10 Freshman seminar course, and overseeing the community service program, Big Heroes Little Heroes. During his time in athletics he helped oversee a department that achieved a 3.12 department GPA in 2014-15, the highest GPA on record for the department and the 5th year in a row that the department carried a 3.0 GPA or higher. In addition, the department increased its community service output each of the last 3 years, culminating in over 4,000 hours for the 2014-15 academic year.
Education: Terence graduated from the University of California, Irvine, with his Bachelor of Arts in 2005 and went on to earn his Master of Arts from the University of San Francisco in 2008.
Personal: Terence and his wife, Peggy, have one daughter, Peyton and a dog, Khloe. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, grilling, and collecting sneakers.
Imelda S. Dudley
Coordinator of Internships and Professional Experiences
As the Coordinator of Internships and Professional Experiences with the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Imelda is available to meet with all students from the college. She may assist with anything that has to do with professional development including, resume review, searching for internships or jobs, and career planning in general.
Experience: Prior to joining the Jordan College, Imelda worked as an Outreach Specialist with the Title V-HSI B Graduate Net Initiative at Fresno State. In that role she helped students transition into the universities master's and doctorate programs. She also served as the Student Success Counselor for the Title V-HSI program, Commitment to Latina/o Academic Success and Excellence (CLASE) at Fresno State. Through that position, she helped students in various ways including: academic advising, coordinating a mentoring program, coordinating a financial literacy program, and she taught a career development course.
Education: Imelda is a two-time alumni of Fresno State. She obtained her bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences and a master's degree in Education- Higher Education Administration and Leadership.
Personal: Imelda and her husband Ryan have a daughter, Lea, and a poodle named Coco. When not at work, they enjoy the outdoors, fitness, and watching movies.
University Internship Coordinator
Mary Willis joined Fresno State in January 2015 as the Coordinator of Internships and Professional Experiences for the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology. In October 2017, she joined the University's Career Development Center as the University Internship Coordinator. In her new role she is now the Career Development Center's Liaison to the Jordan College. Mary is also a co-advisor to the Sigma Alpha Agricultural Professional Sorority.
Experience: Mary's career in higher education began in 1993 as a Career and Academic Counselor at Fresno City College. She then served for 9 years as the Director of Career Resources at Fresno Pacific University and was the Founding Director of Career Services at UC Merced.
Mary is passionate about guiding students in making informed career decisions and developing strategic career action plans, which include participation in internships. She also greatly enjoys working with industry partners to develop internship opportunities and to connect graduating students to career opportunities.
Education: Mary is a proud Fresno State Bulldog, receiving both her Bachelor Degree in Psychology and Master Degree in Education: Counseling and Student Services from the university.
Personal: When not working with students, Mary, along with her husband, Rod, are actively involved in the lives of their children, Emma (19) and Sam (15). She is also a passionate fan of the game of baseball and enjoys reading about its history. Mary's favorite players are her son, Sam, and the San Francisco Giants' Hunter Pence.
