Brief Introductory Statement:
Dr. Letaief joined the Department of Viticulture and Enology in August 2013 as an assistant professor of enology. Prior to that, she was an assistant professor at ESIAT in Tunisia where she taught enology, brewery, and sensory analysis at the undergraduate and graduate levels. She is also a part-time scientific translator for VINIDEA, an internet journal of viticulture and enology (www.infowine.org). She has a Wine industry oriented research experience with a focused attention on the processes of problem solving and quality improvement. She works on developing novel strategies to relate grape quality to the process: identification of new indicators of grape quality for application in the winery, and planning and managing the process accordingly.
