Maddy awarded Medal of Distinction

Senator Kenneth L. Maddy (center) received the 1998 President's Medal of Distinction on May 22 at the 29th Annual Honors Convocation of the School of Agricultural Sciences and Technology. An alumnus at the forefront of agricultural legislative debate, Maddy is one of the few to ever receive the President's Medal of Distinction, the highest non-degree award presented by the university. With Maddy are Dean Daniel Bartell (left) and President John D. Welty.
