The following sessions are being offered by the Center for Enhancement of Teaching and Learning:

Mentoring Junior Faculty, Wednesday, Jan. 30, noon - 12:50 p.m. Repeated Thursday, January 31, 12 - 12:50 p.m., UC 202. This brown-bag lunch session is intended for department chairs and other senior faculty members who are responsible for helping junior faculty succeed. A panel of junior faculty members and senior faculty nominated for their effectiveness in mentoring will lead the discussion. Effective Meetings,Wednesday, Feb. 6, 3 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Repeated Thursday, Feb. 7, 3 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., UC 202; Connie Conlee, Department of Communication, and Ethelynda Harding, CETL. Faculty Stress Reduction, Wednesday, Feb. 20, 3 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Repeated Thursday, Feb. 21, 2002, 3 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., UC 202. John Franz, Ron Perry and Ethelynda Harding will discuss ways that faculty can better cope with the demands of their lives.

Conference on Excellence in Teaching and Learning, Feb. 22, 12:30 - 5:30 p.m. Smittcamp Alumni House, Dr. Lillian Faderman, recipient of the 2000-2001 Provost's Award for Excellence in Teaching, will give the keynote presentation.
