Feb. 9 - Fresno State Horn Workshop, Concert Hall, recital by Tom Hiebert, featuring pianist Lenore Voth Hiebert; tenor Geoffrey Friedley; and bassoonist Larry Gardner. Performances by the Fresno State Horn Ensemble, Fresno State Hornists and local hornists Jennie Bloomster, Stephanie Luna and Jon Webster. Also featuring a master class with Fresno State Professor Benjamin Boone (saxophone), guest artists and a large horn choir. Hornists at all levels are welcome. Please bring your own horns. Feb. 15 - Fresno State Jazz Ensemble "A" with Cuesta College, Concert Hall, 7:30 p.m., admission: $5 general and $3 students/seniors.

Feb. 16 - Fresno State String Day, Wahlberg Recital Hall. Music faculty members Dr. Susan Doering, violin, and Dr. Dieter Wulfhorst, violoncello, will coach students in chamber ensembles and string orchestra. A concert (free and open to the public) will conclude the String Day. For further information, call ext. 8-7547.

Feb. 22 - Mi-Joo Lee, Philip Lorenz Memorial Keyboard Concert Series, Concert Hall, 8 p.m., admission $12.50 general, $7 Seniors, and $5 students.

Feb. 23 - 6th Annual Double Reed Day, Concert Hall, public concert at 6 p.m. Join us for the grand culmination of an exhilarating day of workshops and master classes for oboists and bassoonists. Featured guest artists are Doris DeLoach, professor of oboe at Baylor University, and Christopher Millard, principal bassoonist, Vancouver Symphony. Admission is $10 general; and $5 seniors/students.

Feb. 24 - Susan Doering and Dieter Wulfhorst, faculty recital Fresno State violin and cello instructors, Wahlberg Recital Hall, 3 p.m., admission, free.
