Luncheon honors emeriti faculty

Twenty-seven faculty at California State University, Fresno were honored at the 29th Annual Faculty Emeriti Luncheon on May 1 hosted by President John D. Welty and Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs J. Michael Ortiz.

The newly-conferred emeriti represent more than 800 years of combined teaching and administrative service to the university.

Welty praised the faculty for their work that "laid the foundation" for the growth that the university is experiencing.

"All of you contributed to making possible the activities and growth at Fresno State," Welty said.

The new emeriti faculty are as follows:
