Fresno State represented Asian leadership conference

Three staff members and one faculty member attended the Leadership Development Program for Higher Education offered in July by Leadership Education for Asian Pacifics Inc. at the Cal Poly Pomona campus.

Tou Herr, director of the Educational Opportunity Center; Janice Loo, financial reporting manager of Accounting Services; Phong Yang, counselor with University Outreach Services; and John Suen, professor and interim chair of Earth and Environmental Sciences, attended the four-day program.

The program was intended to increase diversity in senior levels of higher education administration by promoting the leadership and development of Asian Pacific Americans.
