GRAD EXPO set for November

The Division of Graduate Studies will host a Grad Expo on Thursday, Nov. 15, from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Satellite Student Union.

Dianne Dickerson, associate dean of the division, said Grad Expo is an excellent way to introduce and retain Fresno State undergraduates for graduate study.

"The best population for recruitment is our own undergraduate students, which account for more than two-thirds of our graduate enrollment," she said. "Now is the time to identify and encourage these students to attend the Grad Expo."

The event offers to students considering graduate education a one-stop opportunity to ask questions and get answers on the spot. At Grad Expo they will be able to:

"We encourage anyone who is considering grad school to come to the Expo and see just what we offer," said Dickerson. "We designed this one-day event to provide potential students the convenience to meet with our graduate program faculty and representatives of campus services that are important for their admission needs."

More information about participating in the Grad Expo can be obtained from Dickerson or Carol Bradshaw in the Graduate Office, ext. 8-2448.
