During the week of October 8, the 2001 Entrepreneur in Residence
Program will host Eric McAfee, co-founder of Cagan McAffee Capital
Partners, LLC, a venture firm. He replaces John Hughes, chairman
of the Coleman Foundation, Inc. and an owner of the Schamburg
Flyers baseball team, who was unable to serve as this year's EIR
during due to health reasons. Hosted by the Institute for Developing
Entrepreneurial Action (IDEA) at the Craig School of Business
and funded by the Coleman Foundation, the EIR program is in its
fourth year. The program fosters entrepreneurial activities in
the Valley by bringing students, faculty and the community together
to share ideas.
