This month we focus on some useful Web tools and resources.
Web Tools/Resources
- Try out the new search engine at http://www.teoma.com
- Want to submit your Web site to Google and other search engines?
Go to http://www.search.com
and select the "Submit Your Site" link under the "Search
Resources" category on the right.
- Don't have an FTP program? Try using Internet Explorer to
FTP your files to a server. Directions are at http://www.csufresno.edu/ITS/cvip/faq/uploadwIE.html.
- Need to get your photos down to the smallest file size possible?
Use the "Save For Web" feature in Photoshop. Want this
feature and other basic image editing functions in an affordable
software package? Try Photoshop Elements.
- Want some inexpensive, on-site help with your Web site? Contact
the Fresno State Web Design Service. Students knowledgeable in
the university's design guidelines are available to assist you
in any way needed. Call ext. 8-8595.
