Gold Medal pianist performs on campus

Olga Kern, a gold medalist at the Eleventh Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in June, performed at Fresno State's Concert Hall on Nov. 7 as part of the Keyboard Concert Series. Kern, the first woman gold medalist since 1969, has performed in Moscow, Milan and Paris. She is a regular soloist with the Moscow State Symphony and has also appeared with the Moscow Philharmonic, Russian National, China Symphony, Belgrade Philharmonic, Torino Symphony and Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestras.
