
Social Work Education professor Dr. S. Kapoor this fall participated in a United Nations conference in South Africa and spoke at the International Peace Research Association conference in Olympia, Wash.
Kapoor was a member of a panel on "Breaking New Grounds in Value-Based Education" at the U.N. World Conference Against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance in Durban, South Africa, in September. In October, he shared "Reflections on United Nations World Conference Against Racism" at the peace association's annual conference held at Evergreen State College. He spoke on the same topic at the Fresno Center for Nonviolence.
