The Bulldog football team is heading for its third-straight bowl game, and this year it's against a Big Ten team, Michigan State.

Fresno State (11-2), ranked No. 19 in the AP Poll, and Michigan State (6-5) will meet in the Silicon Valley Football Classic on Dec. 31 in San Jose.

Michigan State will play in a bowl game for the first time since beating Florida in the 2000 Citrus Bowl. The 'Dogs played in the inaugural Silicon Valley bowl last year, losing to Air Force 37-34.
Coach Pat Hill is looking for a bowl game victory this year and wants to see 25,000 Red Wave fans in the stands to cheer on the team.
