
Dr. Audrey Springs Anderson, dean of Extended Education, has been inducted into the International Adult and Continuing Education Hall of Fame. Anderson was one of 11 educators honored at a ceremony during the University Continuing Education Association's annual conference in Toronto.
The Hall of Fame was founded in 1995 to honor leaders in the field. As dean since 1987, Anderson has been responsible for the development and administration of continuing education programs that serve more than 17,000 students regionally and abroad each year.
Anderson is past president of the University Continuing Education Association
and served on the California State University Commission on Extended Education.
She also was a member of the executive committee of the Council of Extension,
Continuing Education and Public Service of the National Association of State
Universities and Land Grant Colleges.
