Russian artist leads off
Keyboard Concert season
The 32nd season of the Philip Lorenz Memorial Keyboard Concerts
at Fresno State will begin Sept. 12 with Stanislav Ioudenitch, gold
medallist at the 2001 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition.
The concert will begin at 8 p.m. in the Concert Hall. Tickets are
$12.50 general, $7 seniors and $5 students.
Ioudenitch is a young Russian artist who has already performed in
major venues throughout Europe and the United States. A top prize
winner at the Busoni, Kapell and Maria Callas competitions, his playing
shows rich detail of color and gesture and an enormous sophistication
of line and form.
Other performances in the seasons are: Paul Badura-Skoda, Oct. 14;
Kimberly Marshall (organ), Nov. 2; the 2003 Busoni Prize winner on
Nov. 21; Adam Neiman, Jan. 18; Radu Lupu, Feb. 9, Bruno Leonardo
Gelber, March 17; and Anne-Marie McDermott, April 23.
Season ticket prices are $80 general, $50 seniors, $30 students.
