Russian artist leads off Keyboard Concert season

The 32nd season of the Philip Lorenz Memorial Keyboard Concerts at Fresno State will begin Sept. 12 with Stanislav Ioudenitch, gold medallist at the 2001 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition.

The concert will begin at 8 p.m. in the Concert Hall. Tickets are $12.50 general, $7 seniors and $5 students.

Ioudenitch is a young Russian artist who has already performed in major venues throughout Europe and the United States. A top prize winner at the Busoni, Kapell and Maria Callas competitions, his playing shows rich detail of color and gesture and an enormous sophistication of line and form.

Season ticket prices are $80 general, $50 seniors, $30 students.

Tickets are available in the Music Department office or may be purchased by sending a check to Keyboard Concerts, P.O. Box 14162. Fresno, CA 93650. For ticket reservations and other information, call 8-2337.
