Ag Boosters Barbecue is Sept. 7

The Ag One Foundation’s Ag Boosters will hold their 26th annual Barbecue on Sunday, Sept. 7, at the Dennes Coombs Riverbend Ranch in Madera. The grounds will open at 4 p.m., with dinner served from 5:30-6:30p.m. Tickets are $40 each and tables of 10 can be purchased for $400. The event, which benefits the Ag One Foundation at Fresno State and California Women for Agriculture, includes silent and live auctions, Fresno State quarter horse demonstration, display of antique tractors and cars, country store featuring handmade arts, crafts and baked goods and raffle with a Tenaya Lodge stay as grand prize. In addition, “Fantasy Vacation” raffle tickets will be sold and the drawing will take place following the dinner. For ticket and other information, call the Ag One Foundation at 8-4266.
