Friends of Library dinner Sept. 12

Jean Ray Laury, noted fiber artist and author, will show her work and share her research into quilting as an art form at the Friends of the Madden Library annual dinner program on Friday, Sept. 12 in the Smittcamp Alumni House. A reception will begin at 6 p.m., the program at 6:30 p.m. and dinner at 7:30 p.m. Reservations must be received by Sept. 3. Admission is $35 for members of The Friends of the Madden Library and $40 for non-members. A sign-language interpreter will be provided upon advance request. For reservations, call 8-5790.
