FresnoStateNews.com hit a significant milestone on Aug. 1
when it passed the 1 million visitor mark to date in 2003. Last year the
site recorded 896,000 visitors
in the entire year. Mark Aydelotte, assistant vice president for University Relations
and FresnoStateNews.com webmaster, said a visitor is defined as a series of hits,
with no idle time of 30 minutes or more between any two hits, from the same IP
address. The 1 million visitors account for about 1 million “hits” a
month on the site.
