Benefits Fair Sept. 30

The university’s annual Benefits Fair will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 30 with representatives from health, dental and vision insurance carriers on hand to provide information.

The Benefits Fair will be from 10-11:30 a.m. and noon to 2 p.m. in the Satellite Student Union.

Tentative participants of this year’s Benefits Fair include CalPERS Fresno Regional Office, A+ Auto and Home Insurance, Sanders and Associates, the CalPERS Member Home Loan Program, Department of Treasury (U.S. Savings Bonds), tax shelter annuity companies, local credit unions, Costco, Sam’s Club and the university’s Commuter Service. They have been invited to share information on programs offered.

The university’s Nursing Department will also be on hand to provide free blood pressure testing, and Bally Fitness Center will provide body composition testing to interested employees.

This year the university’s open enrollment period for medical, dental, flexcash dependent care, and health care reimbursement will be in effect during the month of October. All faculty, staff and administrators are encouraged to attend the Benefits Fair to learn more about the new contract year changes in the programs that are available to employees within the CSU.

Additional open enrollment information will be placed online at www.csufresno.edu/humres at a future date.
