20 honored at Emeriti luncheon

Nineteen faculty members and an administrator at California State University, Fresno were honored at the 30th Annual Faculty Emeriti Luncheon on May 7 hosted by President Welty and Interim Provost Jeri Echeverria.

The newly-conferred emeriti represent several hundred years of combined teaching and administrative service to the university.

Welty praised the faculty for their contributions to the growth of the university.

“' Without the incredibly hard work and hours of sacrifices you made, we would not have been able to establish a university known for its quality education,” Welty said. “ Because of you, we are dreaming new dreams and moving into the national stage in many areas,” he said.
