at the American Sociological Association’s 98th annual meeting
in Atlanta, Aug. 16-19. Jendian spoke on “Different Forms of
Ethnic Identity – Social, Personal, & Collective: Implications
for Future Research” at the Racial and Ethnic Identity Formation
session. Kubal spoke on “Memory Frames and National Identity:
The Case of Christopher Columbus” during the Sociology of Culture
Roundtables – Remembering /Restaging the Past.”
